These are some views from a place we call "the cross" which is just up the mountains behind our house here in Korce. Its great to have such a place so close to head for some peace and rest. Korce is predominantly Orthodox thus they have constructed an enourmous cross at the top of this mtn along with a small church. Now that I got my new tires mounted I am able to do a lot more offroad riding and decided to ride the bike up this time.

Now that I am living and working in Korce (Southeast Albania), I regularly make the 3+ hour trip (110 miles only!) to Tirane to visit the Stephen Center as well as friends.
Almost the entire route is newly paved and because of the many mountains it makes for a great ride with lots of twisties.
