NAPLES, ITALY (MAY '05)

A friend from the church my brother pastors in Wilsonville, Oregon (www.visitriverside.com) came to serve with us in Albania for one month. One of his dreams was to see Italy...actually to cruise around Italy on a Vespa. Well the Vespa didnt work out, but at least we were on a motorcycle. We travelled from Durres, Albania via overnight ferry to Bari, Italy then made the 3 or so hour drive to Naples, Italy. We spent 2 full days there and one night then returned to Albania. It was a short trip but grips-o-fun. By the way, Naples serves some amazing food. They also are the inventors of the real pizza.

MT. DAJTI, Tirane, Albania (MAR. '05)

Within 20 minutes I can be from the Stephen Center to 3/4 of the way (which is as far as you can go) up the mountain range that surrounds Tirane. From that level there is a great view of the Tirane valley and if time just right the sunsets are amazing. This particular day a good friend of mine who usually is studying in Berlin was visiting so we decided to get out of the city for a bit.

Unfortunately some people think they can make nature even more beautiful by spray painting profane sayings on rocks. I didn't think so, so I thought I'd spare you.
