The road from Tirane to Elbasan is a great day trip road. Elbasan is located just South of Tirane over a mountain range that provides some wonderfully twisty roads not to mention beautiful views. My fellow riding buddy and the co-director of the Stephen Center, Jozi, and I went to Elbasan for lunch. The trip takes about 1.5 hrs one-way.
